During 8 months we have, as a fast track, developed a complete
new product line in FRP material (fibre reinforced plastic).
The system is unique on the market. (See picture) All main items
are pultruded, a continuous process of roving or roving bundles,
which are drown through a resin impregnated bath to coat the
fibres with a specially formulated resin mixture.
The new system consists of ladders and trays. The ladder system
has 3 different types, 75, 100 and 150 mm heights. The trays are
in 2 types, 50 and 80 mm heights.
The products can be delivered as standard in 3 versions
(resins). The stocked one is polyester, and that will be
delivered with all kind of accessories and connecting parts.
The ladder systems are unique on the market since it has many
new and improved details, such as the fixing of the rungs to the
side profiles. See picture.
The shape of the profiles has some advantages compared to
competitors. Due to the shape of the ladder profile, the ladder
FOE 150 are tested and approved according to NEMA 20C, the
highest class for ladder systems. All ladders have perforated
rungs, which make it possible to use all kind of cable fixings,
straps, bands etc. Both ladders and trays are developed so that
Oglaend Systems tube clamps (ETIN) fits the product. Oglaend
Systems SmartCleat for trefoil installation of high voltage
cabels also fits the ladder system.
Many of the details and advantages are protected, either by
patent or copyrights.
The Oglaend Group has at the same time established a daughter
company in Dubai, which will take care of all the companies’
activities in the Middle East region. That includes sale and
marketing of the total product range, as well as fabrication and
assembly work of the FRP-product.
