FRP System - Fibreglass

Our FRP system is a complete and multidiscipline system that consists of support, ladders and trays.

Advantages

HIGH STRENGTH – Higher strength than structural steel  on a weight to weight ratio

IMPACT RESISTANT – Returns to original position without any permanent deflection or distortion

LIGHT WEIGHT – FRP pultrusion is light-weight, on average 15 to 20% that of steel products

CORROSION RESISTANT – Pultruded products are not susceptible to rusting, pealing or flaking and are impervious to a broad range of corrosive elements

NON-CONDUCTIVE – Glass reinforced pultrusions have low thermal conductivity and are non-conductive

ELECTRO-MAGNETIC TRANSPARENCY – Pultruded products are transparent to radio waves, micro waves and other electromagnetic frequencies

DIMENSIONAL STABILITY – The coefficient of thermal expansion of pultruded products are marginally less than steel and aluminium

LOW TEMPERATURE – FRP has excellent mechanical properties at low temperatures

FIRE RETARDANCY – All products used in the construction of ladders and trays are manufactured in accordance with ASTM-E(¤ class 1 & BS476 part 7 class I & II. Self extinguishing to UL94 V-0 under test procedure ASTM-D 635

ULTRAVIOLET STABILITY – All pultruded products contain an ultraviolet inhibitor, this is further complimented with an external surface veil

WEIGHT & SHIPPING – Our versatile system is light weight and can be flat packed to reduce expensive shipping costs

HALOGEN FREE – Our products are Rated Zero Halogen to IEC60754
