Who is Øglænd System?

We provide innovative integrated modular support systems to the offshore and marine industry. Our mission is to make our customers competitive through our unique multidiscipline support solutions for EI&T, HVAC and Piping. Flexible and bolted cold work installations will contribute to improve HSE in our customers projects and simplify future modifications.

Our company employs 170 people in Kleppe, Norway. In 2017 we had a turnover of 498 million NOK. Øglænd System is a part of Øglænd Industries, which has subsidiaries in 14 countries and had a turnover of 1,2 billion NOK in 2017. The company is fully owned by Hilti Group, employing 28,000 people globally, with branches in over 120 countries.

What does the role involve?

For us, the sales department is the pulse of our customers. Sales Team Manager plays one of the key roles in Øglænd System. Our managers have full management confidence and independence in managing their own budget and making business and personal decisions. All this makes their relationship with Management Team and customers based on partnership and jointly undertaking new challenges. The Sales Team Manager’s role is to define and implement sales plans in the assigned segments. It requires close partner cooperation with the clients, based on understanding their needs, gaining loyalty and seeking mutual benefits. The Sales Team Manager cooperates with other Øglænd System teams to take full advantage of sales potential and professionally serve key clients.

Your tasks will also include the management of a team of Sales Representatives, especially care for the development of their competences, as well as outlining the directions of activities. We recognize that the team's progress (in terms of achieving results and development of competences) is a direct reflection of the leader's work. What you need is:

  • Higher education (Master’s/Bachelor’s degree)
  • Experience in team management
  • Professional experience in sales & marketing
  • Skills to build long-term relationships with O&G owners and operators, EPC contractors, engineering companies, and fabrication yards
  • Technical understanding and confident with discussing and presenting technical solutions
  • Ability to bring out the best in people
  • Strategic and business thinking skills
  • High analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to develop in Øglænd System's international structures
  • Readiness to travel all over Norway and abroad
  • Fluency in English
  • Professional working proficiency in Scandinavian language is considered an advantage
  • Energy, courage and willingness to leave your comfort zone
