Finnfast

This subsea tunnel is equipped with Oglaend System’s LOE cable ladders, custom-made central support and 1650 supports for lighting.

Finnfast is 6 kilomtres long and connects the islands – Rennesøy, Finnøy and Talgje. It was the first tunnel in Norway that has an intersection inside.

Rennesøy got a mainland connection in 1992 when the subsea tunnel Rennfast opened. But with the completion of the Finnfast project two more islands got mainland connection.
