The new operation area consists of 15 buildings, and Oglaend System Sweden delivered FRP products to two of these buildings, which will be used as a garage and cleaning facility for all the vehicles that operate at the airport, such as busses; vehicles for snow clearing and sweeping.
Stockholm Arlanda Airport is aiming to become the leading airport in Scandinavia. Therefore, Swedavia made a billion SEK investment in expansion work. Due to an increasing number of travellers it was necessary to construct a new operating area, in order to free up space for the expansion of a new dock for one of the terminals.
