Clair Ridge

Clair Ridge is the second phase development of the giant Clair field, located 75 kilometres west of the Shetland Islands.

Clair Ridge safely started up in November 2018, targeting 640 million barrels of recoverable resource and peak production of 120,000 barrels of oil a day. The multi-billion-pound investment by BP and partners is designed to continue producing until 2050.

Oglaend System recommended a solution where OE cable ladders and SPB cable trays are combined in a MultiGrid® system; where several starter brackets are installed in a grid pattern. This installation method makes it easy to reconfigure the whole equipment area throughout the project’s entire lifetime. By using the MultiGrid® concept the customer saved both time and cost on the project.
