This cylinder-shaped FPSO unit is equipped with Mekano® and UNO support systems, OE cable ladders, SPB and SPBE cable trays.
Oglaend System Korea followed Hyundai Heavy Industries’ (HHI) requirements and provided custom-made solutions and products. All products were cut to exact length and pre-assembled before delivery to HHI.
The Goliat field is located 85 kilometres north west of Hammerfest, in the Barents Sea, and is the world’s northernmost oil field. The platform is a custom-designed Sevan platform, which is equipped to handle the cold climate.
Oil production started in 2016 and the field has an expected lifetime of 15 years.
