SmartCleat® is our range of patented short circuit approved cable cleats which are extremely compact and simple to install on any pre-slotted rung designs. The SmartCleat has been comprehensively tested to IEC 61914:2021 standards and the SmartCleat is DNV certified to meet the major standards of strength, flexibility and protection.

Cable Cleat Selector
Find the right size cleat for your project with our cable cleat selector. The selector also recommends a safe installation. Based on the value of the short-current peak for the system and the cable diameter, the selector recommends the cleat spacing. When specifying the length of the cable line, the required number of cleats is also offered.
Design details
Lining pads and inserts
Our SmartCleat trefoils are made of stainless steel AISI 316 L without sharp edges. The cables are held firmly by the smooth surfaces of the stopper, ensuring that they are not damaged during installation or short circuits. Additional tightening pressure enhancement lining pads are available for installations where cable tolerances vary, for vertical guiding and allow the use of standard-sized SmartCleats where irregular sizes may occasionally be used.®

Supportive design
The design secures cables close to the crossbars to ensure that the crossbars between the stops support the cable and do not create tension in the cable.
Intelligent Output Safety Board
Secure output boards are highly recommended for mounting at the ends of trefoil cable runs. They provide additional support to reduce arch, deformation and stretching of cables caused by short circuits.
